Be willing to walk alone…

By | Business, Faith, family, Life, Motivation, Self-Love

There will be times in your life that you’ll have to walk alone. There are some places that no one else can go with you. These are the growth spaces in your life that you have to go in order to grow. Most of the time your growth will be alone. When you don’t need people that’s usually when they are there for you. When you really need help many of those people won’t be there. It’s in those times that you must learn and grow.

Before your breakthrough you’ll go through a drought. The drought is to sweat everyone out. Those who aren’t supposed to enter into your best season with you will fall off in the drought. If you don’t know the purpose of the drought you’ll be upset with them. In the drought is also where you discover who you are and why you’re here. You will map out a new plan for life and how you should live your life moving forward. It’s the tough times that build your character so you don’t lose yourself in the good times. If you’re given everything before you’re ready to receive it, it will kill you. We’ve seen money, fame, or success kill many people. Appreciate the tough times just like you’d appreciate the good times. Smile all the way through it. Laugh in the face of adversity. When bad gets even worse, don’t lose faith. All of this is working together for your good. You’re being pruned and then you’ll be groomed. Embrace this season in your life and know that it’s for a reason.

On the other side of your drought the blessings will be overflowing. Those who fell off will try to come back but you’ll know to keep them at a distance and love them from there. Let the natural occur and keep going!! It’s working together for your good.

Consistency…

By | Faith, Life, Motivation

The one thing we lack as humans is the ability to be consistent. The humans who can be consistent are not normal anymore. They’ve elevated to another level of living. We all visit that place at least once, but it’s easier to get there than it is to stay there. Consistency is not common and it does the uncommon in your life.

What do you need to be consistent at? Think on the things you need to be consistent at. Write them down. Make a plan of action and then stick to it. If you can be consistent at anything it will change your life drastically. Every week I see someone “make it.” Rarely are the individuals exceptionally talented. It’s normally the result of a relentless pursuit of their goals. It’s baffling to see less talented people make it while very talented people wonder through life. I’ve suffered from a lack of consistency all my life. It’s not easy. But when I finally was consistent at the things that mattered, my life changed. Now I’m identifying other areas that I need to be consistent in and I’m working on those areas.

Consistency will change your life. You may not be the best. You may not be the smartest. You may not have the most of anything in life, but if you are consistent you will see changes.

Make it a point to be consistent in your life and your life will never be the same.

Count it all joy…

By | Faith, Life, Motivation

I’ve been on a mission to choose happiness no matter my circumstances. It changes everything about life when you count the little things that you’d normally overlook. I used to count my money by the thousand, now I count it by the dollar. If you count your money by the dollar then count it by the quarter or the cent. Give abundance to the things you may feel are scarce. I used to count my problems, now I count my blessings. I used to look for an opportunity to get upset, now I look for an opportunity to laugh at something that used to upset me.

I’ve been creating more time instead of feeling overwhelmed and overworked. I breathe deeper and smile bigger. I realize that 24-hours in a day is a very long time. It hit me when I was outside doing soccer drills with my 10-year-old son. We were doing 10 minute increments and those 10 minutes felt like eternity. I felt every bone, every joint, every vein, then every cell in my legs and back. My body was screaming and asking for a break. In that moment I realize just how long a minute is and how every minute is just as long as the one before, and if we use it the right way we can accomplish a lot. Now I see my work time as abundant and my family time as abundant. I realize now that I don’t have to let my work run over into my family time. If I work 2 hours in a day or 8 hours in a day, it’s enough if I’m focused and driven while working.

Everything in life is in abundance if you choose to look at it that way. There is no lack. Even where you feel there is lack, there is abundance around it. What it all boils down to is, if you’re above the ground you’re blessed. Count it all joy, every problem, every setback, and every failure. You’re blessed beyond measure and it will only get better!

In due time…

By | Faith, Life, Motivation

Everything that is for you is for you. If you are doing what you’re supposed to be doing, you won’t miss your blessings. You have to stay the course. You have to take the good times with the bad times. You can’t turn back if you know you’re going the right way. There will be detours, pot holes, storms, and everything you can imagine. If you know you’re going in the right direction, keep going.

The moments that you feel weary, get a lesson from it. Dig deeper and gain clarity through every situation. It will not be easy, but nothing worth having is easy. When you feel like giving up and you just can’t see a way, hit the gas a little harder. It’s in those times that you are close to your breakthrough. I’m not talking about a toxic relationship or a dead-end job. I’m talking about when you know you’re on the road to destiny and you’re doing what you were put here to do or in the place you’re supposed to be in. Keep going. The harder it is, the sweeter it will be when you step into destiny!

In due time… until then, just grind!!

Stay prayed up…

By | Business, Faith, Life, Motivation

If you read the news for a few minutes it looks like the world will end tomorrow. It’s time to get your life in order. Know who you are and what you stand for. Have your beliefs and your heart in line. It’s hard to straddle the fence these days. You have to stand for something or you’ll be sucked into anything.

Stay prayed up! Be at peace with yourself. Know that at any given moment your life could change for the better or for worse. Make sure the role you’re playing in the world is a positive one. Breathe easy. Don’t lose your temper and be quick to anger because a lot of people with guns are weak minded. Don’t lose yourself or step out of character. Life is too short to stress yourself to death.

It’s time more than ever to live your dreams. Stop settling in the rat race. Be bold enough to invest in yourself and take a chance on you. We have many weak and lost leaders around the world. It’ll be up to the people to be stronger than ever before. We are growing weaker and wiser and unless there is a groundswell of driven individuals things will only get worse. Look out for yourself and your family. Mind your business. Fight for your rights and don’t stop pressing forward. It’s easy to play small and blend in. Be bold enough to stand tall and push yourself to the next level.

I can honestly say that I’ve been trying not to process all the pain and suffering in the world and I’ve been sending it up in prayer. It’s time to live a full life with no limits!!

Blessings,

Tony G.
